Matt’s Comedy Club began life as a one off church gig, but has now grown into one of the UK’s top community run comedy clubs.
We regularly host some of the UK’s greatest comedy talent, with a family friendly atmosphere and a clean comedy ethos, not to mention great value ticket prices!
We’re non-profit, which helps keep prices down and any funds left over get ploughed back into future events.
World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker brings his characteristic warmth, wit and wonder to new parenthood.
From introducing his baby to a horse for the first time, to trying to work out if the GP really did drop them on purpose to test their reflexes, Tender contains poems from the first hundred days of new life and celebrates all of the euphoria, panic and vulnerability that come with it.

Wisecraic & Wisetrack
In 2026, we have regular events booked in to The Cellar Bar, The Brewhouse & Kitchen, Wykeham Road, Worthing.
Wisecraic is a micro comedy night with a mixture of performers making us laugh, but also posing questions for us to think about the things that really matter.
We also have Wisetrack, a night for music lovers!
