We have a number of youth and children’s groups that run at St Matthew’s throughout the week. Whether you are looking for something social or somewhere to explore the deeper questions of life and faith, we have something for you!

What’s on?

‘Unite’ is a Worthing-wide church initiative, bringing children and young people together to have fun, build positive relationships and deepen their faith.

Next Unite event - 8th April.

Sunday mornings

Alongside our 10:30 service we have a provision for children and young people. As well as a creche area for under 3’s, we have four age groups for children and young people up to the age of 16. Each group spends some time exploring stories from the Bible in fun and engaging ways.

Sunday evenings

Our young people (11+) gather together each Sunday evening in someone’s house to discuss the big questions of life and faith. This is interspersed with social nights, wider church events or trips out. From identity to belonging, relationships to money, no topic is off limits!

On a Monday Evening we run NRG for 8-11 year olds and Zone for 11-16 year olds. Both clubs, while slightly different, run to a ‘youth club’ format. There’s a variety of games, activities and crafts with a good mixture of self-chosen and group activities. We have a tuck shop, pool table and regularly have a cooking activity at each of the clubs. Each group costs £1 for entry.
